Our History

For over 25 years, OZ Excavator Buckets has been a cornerstone of the excavation industry since its establishment in Brisbane in 1998. Our story took a pivotal turn in 2006 when the company was acquired by qualified engineer Pete Theron, transforming it into a proud family-owned and operated business. Under Pete's leadership, the company grew from a local workshop in Sumner Park into a nationwide supplier. Today, that legacy of growth continues with the next generation, with Jacques Theron at the helm as General Manager. This new era of leadership was proudly marked in mid-2023 with our significant move to a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility at 1/43 Rudd Street, Oxley. This relocation not only expands our capabilities but also cements our commitment to future innovation, all while retaining the core family values that define us.
